Learning outcomes
LO 1. To search, process and analyze professionally important knowledge from various sources. including using of modern information and communication technologies. LO3. To generalize empirical data and formulate reasoned theoretical conclusions, make psychological prognosis for the development of personality, family, educational system. LO 6. To develop educational materials and educational programs, implement them, get feedback and evaluate quality. LO 8. To evaluate the complexity of the tasks of the activity and to make decisions about seeking help or advanced training.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the theoretical foundations of general psychology, personality and developmental psychology, psychological patterns of personality development at different stages of ontogeny; basics of psychodiagnostics. 2. To be able to select, correctly apply and analyze the results of psychodiagnostic methods at the basic level. 3. To possess basic skills of counseling and application of psychodiagnostic techniques.
Course content
The discipline is aimed at mastering the skills and abilities to conduct psychodiagnostic research of children, adolescents, and child-parent relationships. While studying the course, students get acquainted with the methods of diagnosing children and adolescents, acquire skills in practical work with tests, questionnaires, projective techniques, and subsequent writing of a psychological report. The course provides general theoretical and practical training in the field of childhood psychodiagnostics, which will serve as the basis for their further practical work.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Work on cases (1 case): 20/12 points 2. Oral answers (participation in discussions, work in mini-groups, activity of participants in the class) 24/14 points 3. Preparation and presentation of the abstract: 6/4 points 4. Final control work: 10/6 points. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. The form of examination is written. Types of tasks - open questions and creative tasks. The minimum threshold level of the exam grade at which the exam is considered passed cannot be less than 24 points.  A student is not allowed to take the exam if he or she scored less than 36 points during the semester. The decision on non-admission is made by the dean on the proposal of the teacher and is made public before the start of the relevant control.
