Learning outcomes
LO 2. To be able to organize and conduct psychological research using valid and reliable methods. LO3. To generalize empirical data and formulate reasoned theoretical conclusions, make psychological prognosis for the development of personality, family, educational system. LO 5. To develop and implement programs of psychological interventions (counseling, psychological correction, psychotherapy, training), to carry them out in individual and group work and evaluate quality. LO 6. To develop educational materials and educational programs, implement them, get feedback and evaluate quality.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the theoretical foundations of childhood and existing doctrines and approaches to understanding the family, the historical development of the basic ideas of developmental psychology, the patterns of formation of social and psychological qualities of the individual in the space of family relationships, methods of teaching psychological disciplines. 2. To be able to develop the design of classroom lessons, organize practical, seminar classes, independent work of students, apply constructive methods of socializing influence; apply psychodiagnostic, developmental and counseling practices in working with individual and group clients, including families; perform practical professional duties in the workplace as a teacher of higher education. 3. To Possess professional abilities, skills to make independent decisions in certain areas of work (or on specific issues) in real production conditions by performing functions and tasks in the specialization.
Course content
The Assistant practice is designed to form professional skills, teaching skills necessary for teaching disciplines in the field of childhood and family psychology in higher education institutions, to consolidate in practice knowledge of pedagogy, higher education psychology and methods of teaching psychology in higher education institutions; to develop the ability to make independent decisions in certain areas of work (or on specific issues) in real production conditions by performing certain functions and tasks in the specialization.

Assessment methods and criteria
The current grade consists of points for the written Report (up to 30 points from the supervisor of the Assistant practice from the department of the educational institution) and the evaluation from the supervisor of the Assistant practice from the Assistant practice site (up to 30 points). The maximum number of points that a student can receive is 60 points on a 100-point scale. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a differentiated test and involves the defense of the practice at the department. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. The minimum threshold grade level at which a differentiated test is considered passed cannot be less than 24 points. A student is not allowed to defend his/her work if he/she scored less than 36 points during the internship.
