Describe and analyze the principles of structural and functional organization, mechanisms of regulation and adaptation of organisms to the influence of various factors. PR13. Adhere to the basic rules of biological ethics, biosafety, biosecurity, assess the risks of the latest biological, biotechnological and biomedical methods and technologies, identify potentially dangerous organisms or production processes that may pose a threat of emergencies. PR20. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of natural sciences to form an idea of the laws of individual and historical development of biological systems at different levels of organization, the role of systemic processes in their formation, functioning and plasticity, features of their cooperative interaction.

Course content
The subject of study of the discipline are the general mechanisms of immune-mediated processes that determine the development of various pathologies of the organism. Discipline is a specialized biological discipline that deals with the role of the body's immune system in the development of pathological processes, causes and mechanisms development of immune deficiency, primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, the role of autoimmune processes in normal and pathologies of autoimmune nature, physiological basis of adaptation of the immune system to age-specific functioning, mechanisms of immunopathogenesis of infectious diseases on the example of HIV infection, immunorecognition and methods and immunoprophylaxis of immune-dependent diseases.
