To identify, verify and summarize information on various contexts of cultural practice, to determine the degree of their relevance using different sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies. 8. To interpret cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and certain methods, tо reasonably present conclusions regarding their content. 13. To present knowledge about culture according to the specialization of representatives of various professional groups and students.

1. Before starting this course, students should know the theoretical and applied material of physical, economic and political geography, history, political science, sociology, cultural studies, international relations, etc. 2. Be able to collect and interpret special information of a tourist nature, apply modern and traditional active learning methods when studying the discipline, freely operate with data about countries and their tourist opportunities, work with statistical, reference and cartographic materials. 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, socio-cultural events and phenomena; the use of foreign-language professional socio-geographical and country studies informative sources.
