Learning outcomes
RS-2. Critically evaluate the results of scientific research and various sources of knowledge about social work practices, formulate conclusions and recommendations for their implementation. RS-7. Apply general and specialized software to solve professional problems and carry out scientific research. RS-9. Perform reflective practices in the context of social work values, responsibility, including to prevent professional burnout. RS-13. Demonstrate initiative, independence, originality, generate new ideas for solving tasks of professional activity.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: methodological basics of organization and conduct of educational classes; Be able to: develop plans for conducting training sessions, plan time for processing thematic and practical material, conduct educational and methodological discussions with students in thematic areas, form a positive social and psychological climate in the classroom. Possess: information and communication technologies of learning, features of the organization of methodological activities in the student environment.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is the practical implementation of professional knowledge othe methodology of teaching the theory and practice of social pedagogy, gaining experience in teaching activities. Assistant practice involves active and direct participation in the educational process by the student (conducting lectures, seminars, practical classes, attending the classes of scientific and pedagogical workers and fellow interns), preparing written reviews of the conducted open classes. During the assistant practice, the student carries out scientific and methodical work, goes through the process of practical self-training and receives individual tasks that are performed according to the practice plan.

Lecture, seminar, tasks for independent student work. Survey, discussion, practical (individual and group) tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
The results of assistant practice by students are evaluated by a commission made up of scientific and pedagogical staff of the department. The grade is given for each type of work, namely: - for educational work 0-45 points (quality of the students own classes; number of attended classes of teachers and other interns of the department, participation in reflection), of which 10-27 points - supervisor, 7- 18 points - during differentiated assessment; - for methodical work 0-45 points (quality of methodical and practical materials), of which 10-27 - head of practice, 7-18 points - during differentiated assessment; - preparation of reporting documentation. 0-10 points, of which 2-6 points are given by the head of the practice, 1-4 points - during differentiated assessment. The overall grade is set as the sum of points from the student-interns educational and methodical work, as well as from the assistant practice report.
