Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: theoretical foundations and organizational and methodological support of volunteering in social and pedagogical activities; To be able to: analyze regulatory and legal support of volunteer activities; determine the needs of the community, organization in creating volunteer initiatives; Have: basic skills and abilities of planning, organizing and evaluating the effectiveness of volunteering.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to master the theoretical and methodological, methodical foundations and practical aspects of organizing volunteer activities at the community level, organizing and implementing a volunteer initiative. The discipline contains three content modules.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminar classes, assignments for the students independent work. Oral answer, analysis of primary sources, presentations, debates, practical tasks, modular control work, final control work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answer (analysis of primary sources) – 25 points (up to 5 points each); creative and practical tasks - 20 points (up to 10 points for each); modular control work - 15 points (up to 5 points for each). Final assessment in the form of an exam: the maximum number of points per exams – 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to semester exams – 24 points.
