Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: theoretical, regulatory and legal principles of socio-pedagogical work with families and children in the social sphere and in the education system; Be able to: determine the cause-and-effect relationships of difficulties of families with children; apply forms and methods of socio-pedagogical work with them.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to acquire students; knowledge and skills regarding the content, procedures and specifics of social support of families and children in the social sphere, social-pedagogical patronage in the education system, as well as preparing them for practical activities in these areas. The discipline contains four content modules.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminar classes, assignments for the students independent work. Oral answer, analysis of primary sources, presentations, debates, practical tasks, modular control work, final control work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answer (analysis of primary sources) – 27 points (up to 3 points each); creative and practical tasks - 13 points; modular control work - 20 points (up to 5 points for each). Final assessment: credit. The credit is calculated based on the results of the student;s work during the semester. Completion of modular control tasks and obtaining a total of at least 60 points is mandatory for obtaining credit.
