PR2. Strive for self-organization and self-education. PR7. Have the skills to work independently and as a leader, get results in a limited time with an emphasis on professional integrity in the cultivation of ornamental plants in open and closed ground, design, creation and operation of garden and park facilities. PR 17. Present, model and develop projects of landscaping, gardening, landscape architecture and environmental design using the latest technologies and the use of graphic techniques.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know - meadow and lawn grasses, their biological and ecological features, nutritional value. Types of meadow lands and their significance for landscaping and agricultural production of Ukraine. 2. To be able - to distinguish types of meadow and lawn grasses on various signs, to make grass mixes and to calculate sowing norms. To determine the need of lawn and meadow grasses for nutrients and to draw up schemes for systematic care, rational use of natural and artificial ecosystems. Determine the timing and height of mowing meadow and lawn grasses. 3. Possess - basic skills of creating highly decorative lawn cover for various functional purposes, resistant to adverse abio- and biotic environmental factors., Selection of the range of lawn grasses, seed quality analysis, selection of agrochemicals to protect lawn grasslands.
Course content
The discipline "Meadow growing" is a discipline of free choice of the student, which includes mastering the theoretical and practical foundations of rational use of natural and artificial meadows and the creation and maintenance of lawns based on modern achievements of domestic and world science, the formation of practical skills for planting , norms of sowing seeds, care and repair of lawns.
