Learning outcomes
The task of studying the discipline "Web technologies" is the theoretical and practical training of future specialists in such matters, which combine a set of methods and software and technical tools, integrated for the purpose of effective processing of web resources located in the web space. The discipline supports and expands the acquired, as well as provides new skills of the modern level of information systems technologies, technologies and approaches to programming, software analysis and modeling, to use the means of implementing information systems, which are an integral part of complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of ICT and internet of things The discipline provides an opportunity for specialists: practical programming skills to solve applied problems on a computer.

Course content
The educational discipline "Web technologies" covers a certain range of issues related to the methods, techniques, rules and technologies of developing web applications according to the stages of creating software products. The following topics are covered: basic HTML and CSS tools for designing, layout and editing websites, demonstration of structuring and formatting text and tabular data, embedding images on a web page, placing media content, creating forms, object positioners, etc., application specifics modern online web site builders (uCoz, WordPress). The discipline "Web Technologies" is a platform for studying the main professional disciplines of the educational program "Software Technologies of the Internet of Things", such as: "Construction of Internet of Things Systems", "Organization of Databases", coursework and bachelor's qualification work, etc.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, laboratory classes, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
The current assessment is conducted in the form of a survey of students on the topics of previous lectures and the completed laboratory work. The winner performs 7 laboratory works of 7 points each and 1 final laboratory work on website development with an assessment of up to 11 points. Final assessment is conducted in the form of testing and execution of modular control work. The applicant performs complex testing, which contains questions of theoretical and practical level. The applicant is admitted to the final assessment on the condition that he passes and defends all the laboratory works provided for in the plan and obtains at least 48 points during the semester. The work is considered submitted on time when the defense takes place on the next pair after the task is issued, unless other deadlines are notified by the teacher. The final grade is determined by summing up the points of the semester work and the final module test.
