Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know - the basics of zoology, botany, conservation, basics of law, sociology. 2. Be able to carry out environmental research in the field and laboratory conditions. 3. Have the skills to perform basic environmental research in the field of biodiversity inventory, mathematical calculations, work with literature, work with PC.
Course content
The teaching of this discipline is aimed at studying the concepts, terminology, principles, methods, methodological approaches and theories of territorial nature protection, conservation of biological and landscape diversity. During the study of the discipline examples are given and the importance and practical application of the main laws and principles for optimizing the state of ecosystems, environmental management are demonstrated. Emphasis is placed on the inextricable link between the state of the environment and public health. The teaching of this discipline is aimed at theoretical and practical mastering by students of modern methods of management of territories and objects of nature reserve fund, water protection zones, forests of the first group, territories of the Emerald network.
