PR03. Understand the basic concepts, theoretical and practical problems in the field of natural sciences, necessary for analysis and decision-making in the field of ecology, environmental protection and optimal use of nature. PR10. Be able to use software, GIS technologies and Internet resources for information support of environmental research. PR21. Be able to choose the best methods and tools for research, data collection and processing. PR24. Understand and realize their rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values ​​of a free democratic society, the rule of law, human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "General Ecology", "Soil Science", "Geology with the basics of geomorphology", "Landscape Ecology". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of mathematics, statistics, probability theory, engineering and computer graphics. 3. Possession of basic skills of mathematical modeling, knowledge of GIS information systems.
Course content
Discipline reveals the need for an integrated approach to work, starting from the formation of land as an object of land ownership, production of index cadastral maps, creation of cadastral plans, the emergence of new types of work related to the current state of land reform, widespread use in land management of new information technologies, especially geographic information systems (GIS) ), modern surveying technologies, including methods of remote sensing of the earth. Emphasizes the special role of land management and state land cadastre in order to ensure the rational use and protection of land. Considers the basic concepts and provisions, including regulations, standardization and regulation in the field of land protection.
