Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students must know the basic stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process, as well as the main scientific methods research. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information to build arguments, build reasoning, draw rational conclusions from available information. 3. Have basic skills in working with professional literature, management information, critical attitude to events and phenomena.
Course content
The discipline acquaints students with the subject and history of heuristics, types of disputes, components of argumentation. The form, scheme and structure of argumentation are considered. Rules, errors and methods of influence on the point of view, arguments and procedures of the dispute are determined

Semester assessment: 1. Modular test 1: PH 1.1-1.2 - 20/10 points. 2. Modular test work 2: PH 1.1–1.2 - 20/10 points. 3. Speeches at seminars (oral answers, rapid testing, syllabus material): pH 2.1-4.1 - 40/20 points. 4. Independent tasks: RN 2.1-4.1 - 20/10 points. Final assessment: in the form of a credit
