PR02. Understand the basic environmental laws, rules and principles of environmental protection and nature management. PR03 Understand basic concepts, theoretical and practical problems in the field of natural sciences that are necessary for analysis and decision-making in the field of ecology, environmental protection and optimal use of nature. PR21. Be able to choose the best methods and tools for research, data collection and processing. PR23. Demonstrate skills in implementing environmental measures and projects. PR29. Calculate static and dynamic parameters of populations. PR30. Identify the principles and types of interaction of living organisms with the environment.

Course content
The discipline "Population Ecology" deals with issues of population-species level of the organization of the animal world, as an object of study of a wide range of biologists and ecologists. The discipline is designed to form an idea of the population approach in the study of ecosystems, to highlight the main static and dynamic indicators of populations.
