PR07. Solve problems in the field of environmental protection using generally accepted and / or standard approaches and international and domestic experience. PR09. Demonstrate assessment skills unpredictable environmental problems and thoughtful choice of solutions. PR12. Participate in the development and implementation of projects aimed at optimal management and treatment of industrial and municipal waste. PR13. Be able to form effective communication strategies in order to convey ideas, problems, solutions and personal experience in the field of ecology. PR17. Understand the responsibility for the effectiveness and consequences of comprehensive environmental measures. PR18. Combine skills of independent and team work to get results from emphasis on professional integrity and responsibility for decision-making. PR22. Participate in the development of projects and practical recommendations for conservation environment.

The student must know: the main organizational forms of the educational process in higher education; basic concepts and categories of pedagogy and methods of teaching in higher education; modern approaches to the formation of students' professional competence; the latest educational technologies of education in higher educational institutions; forms, types and methods of control and assessment of the level of formation of professional competencies; The student must be able to: define and analyze the goals, content, principles, methods and techniques of teaching; monitor and assess the level of formation of all components of professional competence; plan and implement various forms of organization of the educational process in higher education

Industrial practice forms students' first skills and abilities to independently plan, conduct and analyze a scientific experiment, ie aims to prepare for independent research, to creatively study domestic and foreign scientific literature on the subject, to master the methods of statistical and mathematical processing of experimental data. The main task of industrial practice is direct practical preparation for independent work as a laboratory assistant or organizer of nature management of environmental units of enterprises. In this regard, the internship is carried out in addition to the basic units of the NSC "Institute of Biology": Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, Kaniv Nature Reserve, Botanical Garden named after Acad. O. Fomin, also on the basis of research and production institutions of environmental profile, with which the relevant cooperation agreements have been concluded.
