Learning outcomes
PRN01. Demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of management of environmental actions and / or environmental projects. PR03. Understand the basic concepts, theoretical and practical problems in the field of natural sciences, necessary for analysis and decision-making in the field of ecology, environmental protection and optimal use of nature. PRN04. Use the management principles on which the environmental safety system is based. PR11. Be able to predict the impact of technological processes and industries on environment. PR12. Participate in the development and implementation of projects aimed at optimal management and treatment of industrial and municipal waste. PR13. Be able to form effective communication strategies in order to convey ideas, problems, solutions and personal experience in the field of ecology. PRN22. Participate in the development of projects and practical recommendations for environmental protection.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students should know the basic definitions and the concept of modern ecology and the consequences of human activities on the environment; structure and content of environmental legislation; essence and classification natural factors; methods and means of protection and rational use resources; the mechanism of formation of the market of ecological goods and services in Ukraine; basic approaches to environmental and economic assessment of production. 2. To be able to independently apply knowledge of general ecology, ecological management, environmental monitoring and other disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical tasks; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Have basic skills of environmental analysis; estimates environmental risks; assessment of the effectiveness of environmental activities of the enterprise
Course content
1.
