Learning outcomes To know: Ukrainian studies problems domestic cultural experts from universities, scientific circles and societies of the 19th century. and fundamental stages of study of this problem. Be able to: Explain the stages of study in the 19th - 21st centuries. Ukrainian studies issues cultural studies in universities, -Identify key approaches to assessment analysis of Ukrainian studies issues in cultural studies of scientists and teachers of UNR, ZUNR, Ukrainian state, Ukrainian SSR, Ukraine, Ukrainian diasporas in the world. based on course materials Communication: -Apply professional international terminology and foreign languages for analysis of the history of development by scientists of Ukraine of Ukrainian studies problems in them cultural studies of the 19th century – beginning 21st century

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and specifics of the national and world historical and cultural process; classical and modern cultural theories and methods of research, in particular philosophies of culture, their main concepts and categories. 2. To be able to find and interpret information about cultural phenomena, processes and events in Ukrainian scientific, cultural and socio-political life, to apply the categories of cultural sciences in the cultural study of Ukrainian issues. 3.Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude towards and forecasting of political, cultural, artistic and other events and phenomena; the use of foreign-language professional cultural-philosophical and cultural sources.

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment The overall assessment during the academic period consists of points obtained for three types of independent work: classroom work, written research work and essay writing. All these types of work for the semester have as a result: - in the maximum dimension of 80 points - a minimum of 48 points Final control work in written form - RN 1.1.-1.4., 2.1., 2.2., 2.3. – 12 / 20 points
