Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Economic Theory", "Higher Mathematics", "Microeconomics", "Business Economics". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of macro- and microeconomics, psychology, sociology, law, economic theory, finance, business economics. 3. Be able to calculate economic indicators, process statistical data, analyze statistical information. 3. Have basic skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
The curriculum consists of two content modules. Content module 1. Theoretical principles of management. The concept of management. Integrated approaches to management: process, quantitative, systemic, situational. The concept and evolution of general principles of management. Decision making process. Content module 2. Practical principles of management. The concept of management functions and their role in management. General functions of management: planning, organization of interaction, motivation, control. Types of plans and basic documents in the planning of the organization. Features of organizational structures at the present stage. Classification of organizational management structures. The concept of motivation and classification of motivational theories (substantive and procedural).

The purpose of the discipline is to form in future managers modern economic thinking and a system of special knowledge in the field of enterprise management, students master the basic theoretical principles and develop the necessary practical skills to effectively carry out these activities in the enterprise.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. 100 points / min. 60 points) 1. Oral interview, discussion - 10 points / 6 points; 2. Solving problems - 20 points / 12 points; 3. Testing - 20 points / 12 points; 4. Modular test - 20 points / 12 points; 5. Independent work - 10 points / 6 points; 6. Final test - 20 points / 12 points.
