Learning outcomes
Ability to use the basic methods in studying the market conditions and forecasting processes in the world economy, in international commodity markets and individual products, using international information sources and programs. Analyze the features of the risk environment in international business, to apply methods of quantitative and qualitative identification, as well as assessment of such risks; to use financial mechanisms of insurance in commercial activities. Explore the structure and main trends of the world economy, directions and forms of its transnationalization, as well as to analyze the main economic indicators of different countries. Analyze the evolution, structure and mechanisms of global finance, international financial markets and as such instruments. Demonstrate knowledge in management of international finances, operational and investment activities, as well as in determination of basic indicators of global stock market activity.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the basics of the Principles of Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Political economy of International Trade, World economy, Multinational enterprises, International Business, Global Finance. 2. Ability to understand the basic principles of the functioning of international banking business and global financial market in general. 3. Have the basic skills of economic data collection and processing, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of theoretical and empirical data while providing one’s own conclusions and proposals. 4. Proficiency in English.
