Learning outcomes
Know the history, trends, principles, definition of MNEs, as well as the peculiarities of their international operations and different environments of multinational business; the basic theoretical approaches to the study of multinational enterprises, stages of theory evolution, features of modern concepts of MNEs.
Be able to find out the main trends and patterns of development MNEs international investments; to prepare references and recommendations on Multinational Enterprises export issues for state authorities.
Master the skills of convincing defense of one’s point of view on problematic issues of MNEs in developed countries.
Solve collective tasks, problems case studies, team discussion relating to MNE s operations in the developing countries.
Autonomy in preparation of analytical notes and recommendations on specific topical theoretical and practical issues of MNEs operations

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Knowledge of the basics of World Economy, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics.
- Ability to analyze and contemporary trends of multinational firm’s activity.
- Have the basic skills of analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of statistical material while providing one’s conclusions and proposals.
- Proficiency in English.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Surveys at seminars, tasks for individual work, consideration of hypothetical interstate disputes, analysis of the dispute in the case-study format, judging speech contest – up to 30 points.
2. Modular control work – up to 30 points.
3. Examination – up to 40 points.
