Learning outcomes
To know: the main provisions of the theory of purchasing power parity, interest rate parity; the definition of the Fisher effect and the international Fisher effect. basic principles of the theory expectations, optimal currency area, Mandel-Fleming model, Krugman model AA-DD, balance of payments theories.
To be able to: identify exchange rate factors in different countries and determine the exchange rate in different situations, use the conditions of international monetary parity to predict future exchange rates, identify the relationship between real interest rates in different countries and factors, analyze the relationship between interest rates and exchange rates, assess the feasibility of monetary integration, use methods of regulating external settlements, develop and analyze models of international finance.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The study of the discipline assumes that students have general material on the development of international finance, international investment, global financial markets. The study of the discipline requires knowledge of the basic level of English.

As part of the study of the discipline, it is planned to prepare and submit to the teacher a creative task, which includes an empirical test of the provisions of one of the theories of international finance to be considered, on the example of Ukraine.
