Know: Regulatory framework of diplomatic protocol. Basic principles of diplomatic protocol. Basic concepts, terms and categories of diplomatic protocol, ceremony and etiquette. Methods and means of diplomatic communication, the main types of documents of diplomatic correspondence. Basic norms and means of protocol support of Ukraine's foreign policy measures. Methods and means of representative work with the diplomatic corps, structural units on the protocol of foreign ministries. Basic norms of diplomatic etiquette. National features of the diplomatic protocol of different nations. Be able to: Adhere to the norms of diplomatic protocol. Compile samples of the main types of documents of diplomatic correspondence. Model schemes for conducting various representative events. Develop programs for visits of foreign partners. Develop recommendations for the use of tools of diplomatic protocol and etiquette in the evolution of forms and methods of modern diplomacy.

Full-time form

1.Know the theoretical foundations of diplomacy and diplomatic organization work, basics of formation and implementation of foreign policy, international economic relations. 2.Successful mastering of the courses “Philosophy”, “International relations and world politics”, “Ukrainian language” (for professional purposes). 3.Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of diplomatic cooperation, formulation of foreign policy and foreign economic interests of the state, international economic cooperation.

Content module 1. Components of diplomatic protocol, ceremony, etiquette. Introduction. Sources of rules and regulations of diplomatic protocol. The concept and history of diplomatic protocol, ceremony and etiquette. The origins of modern business etiquette. Norms and traditions of diplomatic protocol in diplomatic activity. Diplomatic visits and talks. Minutes of a business meeting. Adherence to the norms of diplomatic etiquette as a component of the image of a modern diplomat, politician, businessman. Content module 2. Protocol of foreign policy measures. Visits at the highest and highest levels. Protocol aspects of receiving a foreign delegation and conducting negotiations. Diplomatic receptions. The role of "gastronomic diplomacy" in interstate relations. International courtesy of states.
