            Learning outcomes
        
        
            Understand the basic concepts and categories of international investment projects. Understand the peculiarities of international investment projects. Know and understand the types of investment projects, methods of project planning and analysis. Know and understand the relationship between the organizational structure and economic efficiency of the investment project, as well as the impact of inflation on investment performance. Understand the basics of risk analysis and sensitivity of an investment project. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of using internal and external sources of funding. Be able to use the knowledge and methods gained during the course for further study of the student, as well as for practical use in the analysis of international investment projects. Be able to use in practice basic knowledge about the functioning of international investment projects and investment risk analysis.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1. Know the basics of political economy, international trade, statistics, world economy, multinational enterprises, international business and global finance.
2. Ability to understand the basic principles of operation and management of international investment projects.
3. Have basic skills in collecting and processing economic information, critical thinking, working with a significant amount of theoretical and empirical data, while providing their own conclusions and suggestions.

            Module 1. Theoretical foundations and nature of investment design. Introduction. Real investments and their role in the modern economy. Fundamentals of investment design. Fundamentals of project management. Fundamentals of investment project management. Traditional and modified methods of evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects. Features of evaluation of investment projects. Creative task: Concept of your own investment project and preparation a presentation. Modular test work 1. Module 2. Practical bases of investment project implementation. Financial efficiency of investment projects. Investment project budget planning and development. Budgeting of investment projects. Investment risk analysis. Project risk management. Applied methods of project risk management. Organization of financing investment projects.
