Learning outcomes
PR01. Know and understand the fundamental and applied aspects of environmental sciences. PR02. Be able to use conceptual environmental regularities in professional activity. PR03. Know the basic concepts at the level of the latest achievements natural sciences, sustainable development and methodology of scientific knowledge. PR06. Know the latest methods and tools of environmental research, including methods and tools of mathematical and geoinformation modeling. PR12. Be able to assess landscape and biological diversity and analyze the effects of anthropogenic impacts on the environment. PR13. Be able to assess the potential impact of man-made objects and economic activities on the environment. PR15. Assess environmental risks under insufficient conditions information and conflicting requirements. PR18. Be able to use modern processing methods and interpretation of information during innovation activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know - As a result of studying the discipline the student must know: 1) Fundamentals of systems approach and general systems theory. 2) Modern approaches to quantitative assessment of environmental quality. 2. Be able to: 1) organize assessments of the quality of habitat quality; 2) assess the negative impacts on ecosystems; 3) develop measures to improve the environment; 4) develop a system of measures to optimize the state of ecosystems. 3. Have the skills to systematically solve environmental problems
Course content
This discipline is part of the cycle of compulsory subjects. The discipline is based on knowledge of physics, chemistry, mathematics, general ecology and neo-ecology, hydroecology, ecotoxicology and some sections of other natural sciences.
