            Know the conceptual and terminological apparatus, methodology of theories of foreign direct investment. Know the source base of theories of foreign direct investment and multinational enterprises. Know the directions, stages of development of FDI theory and MNE, classification and typology of concepts. Know theories of market power, monopolistic advantages. Know the features of macroeconomic theories of direct investment. Know the formation of the economic school of internalization and the theory of transaction costs. Know the nature of product life cycle theory and competitive advantage. Know the peculiarities of the development of the theory of oligopolistic reaction. Know the peculiarities of the development of Uppsala's FDI model. Know the nature of the eclectic theory of foreign direct investment. Know the characteristics and categories of resource theory of foreign direct investment.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1) Know the theoretical aspects and foundations of international economic relations. 2) Be able to analyse the causes and consequences of trends in foreign direct investment and international production. 3) Have basic skills of search and analysis of statistical materials on the activities of multinational enterprises, the impact of their operations on countries. 4) Know English or another foreign language to get acquainted with the theoretical and statistical sources of the dynamics of international production and export of MNE capital.

Features of the current stage of transnationalization of the world economy 4. The strategy of transnationalization of the firm 5. Organizational and managerial structure of multinational corporations 6. The financial system of the MNE 7. Relationships of multinational corporations and host countries 8.
