Learning outcomes
To understand the structure and patterns of operation of logistics systems in
world practice; the content of the main problems associated with the development of areas of management of international supply chains, as well as ways to solve and optimize them; norms, rules and standards governing international transport at the national, regional and global levels.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of international business, macro and microeconomics, business economics, basics of insurance, as well as management and accounting;
ability to analyse, systematize, optimize, and evaluate both logistics systems at all levels and individual links in the logistics chain, applying relevant skills and knowledge in the field of international and national law;
possession of skills of analysis, systematization, grouping, as well as evaluation of the effectiveness of certain economic processes and operations for management decisions in the field of international supply chain management.

Thematic plan of the discipline:
1. The concept of logistics and its evolution
2. Tasks and functions of logistics management
3. Logistics systems and their elements.
4. Modeling of logistics systems.
5. International Logistics Systems (IRS). Types of logistics system strategies.
6. Logistics as a means of solving economic problems in international business. Objects of international logistics

Assessment methods and criteria
Current control: performance of tasks of independent work; students write tests.
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system. The score is calculated by the cumulative system. Two modular tests are evaluated at 25 points each. Completion of tasks of independent work - 10 points.
The maximum number of points obtained during the semester is 80.
The critical minimum access to the test is 40 points. The test takes the form of solving test tasks and practical tasks. It is estimated at a maximum of 20 points.
