Learning outcomes
Know the essence of business consulting; categories and theories of the consulting process; the essence of consulting business management; main stages of the consulting business management process; basics of organization of management of consulting business at the enterprise; tasks of consulting business management consultants; methods of evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed and implemented in the activities of enterprises recommendations; formulation of the results of the consultation; methods of identifying reserves in the activities of enterprises. Be able to analyze the current economic situation; use basic approaches to contracting and project management in the field of business consulting; to negotiate and establish contacts with the client; use basic skills and techniques in the field of consulting management; analyze the proposals of consultants; to find optimal solutions to the formulated problems.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) knowledge of theoretical foundations of psychology, sociology, economic theory, econometrics, macro- and microeconomics, international economic relations, business economics, management, international business, computer science, cross-cultural management, marketing, world commodity markets, pricing, foreign language, etc. ; 2) the ability to collect, summarize and analyze information on multidisciplinary international consulting activities, perform analytical and organizational work in the preparation and implementation of consulting projects in management practice; 3) possession of the methodology of enterprise potential analysis, strategic, situational and portfolio analysis of investment attractiveness of certain market segments and its consulting.
Course content
Module 1. Theoretical aspects of consulting and consulting technologies in international business The essence of consulting activities. Internal and external consulting The main methodological approaches and stages of the consultation process Classification of methods and characteristics of counseling technology Module 2. Practical aspects and possibilities of application of management consulting technologies in international business Behavior of the consultant in the client's system Preparation for counseling and preliminary diagnosis of the problem Consultation proposals and consultation agreement

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material of all content modules. Final evaluation. The exam in the discipline is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam is estimated at a maximum of 40 points.
