The discipline "Geography in a specialized school, it is a link in the general system of courses on teaching methods geography, pedagogy, didactics, etc. For successful mastery of knowledge from disciplines, students must have basic knowledge of both geographical and pedagogical courses.

The discipline "Geography in a specialized school" examines the peculiarities teaching geography in specialized schools and classes. During the study of the discipline, attention is also paid to formation important professional competences of a bachelor of geography skills and ability to act professionally, tolerantly in a difficult school environment.
