Understand basic terms, concepts, principles and theories in biotechnology and on the boundaries of subject areas. Demonstrate knowledge of the physicochemical basis for the determination of biologically active substances and other biotechnology products. Demonstrate knowledge of methods and techniques for determining target products in multicomponent systems. Apply in professional activities physico-chemical and biological methods for determining the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the biotechnological process. Through independent learning to analyze and justify the choice of the latest methods of experimental research for the analysis of biotechnology products.

1. Successful mastering of courses of EL "Bachelor". 2. Be able to independently perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biotechnology and analytical laboratories.

Discipline "Express analysis in biotechnology, control (evaluation) of product quality" covers the study of physicochemical characteristics of culture fluid, features of determination of biologically active substances in multicomponent systems, methods of qualitative and quantitative determination of biotechnology products. Peculiarities of analytical determination of biologically active substances in multicomponent systems are studied, modern data on the structure of biologically active substances are generalized, methods of control over biotechnological production are considered, as well as control at the stages of finished product production. Attention is paid to modern methods of obtaining high quality biotechnological products.
