PRN03. Carry out technical and economic calculations of design decisions and analyze and evaluate their effectiveness, environmental and social consequences in the short and long term. PRN04. Be able to choose and apply the most appropriate methods of mathematical modeling and optimization in the development of scientific and technical projects. PRN06. To know and evaluate the main methods of cultivation of eukaryotic cells of animal and plant origin, to develop new technologies for their use in scientific purposes, medicine, agriculture, etc. PRN07. Have the skills to isolate, identify, store, cultivate, immobilize biological agents, optimize nutrient media, choose the best methods of analysis, isolation and purification of the target product, using modern biotechnological methods and techniques inherent in a particular area of ​​biotechnology.

Course content
The discipline "Bioenergy foundations of biotechnological processes" includes the study of modern methods of biology and biotechnology in order to acquaint students with the basic concepts and basic principles of biotechnological production. In the course of studying the discipline the practical application of methods for calculating certain stages in biotechnology is mastered.
