Learning outcomes
Know: -Modern theoretical problematic issues of the development of the official business style of the Ukrainian literary language. - Stylistic possibilities of linguistic means of business style. - Genre differentiation of the official business style of the modern Ukrainian literary language. Be able: - Analyze modern processes in professional activity. -Analyze professional style texts. - Independently create professional texts. Communication: - To discuss the actual problems of differentiation and analysis of texts of different styles of the modern Ukrainian literary language. - create and present texts in an official business style (oriented to oral and written communication) in accordance with the needs of the profession.

-Know the basic linguistic concepts regarding language as a system. - Be able to analytically work with specialized literature, analyze texts. - Possess basic skills of modeling oral and written texts
Course content
Topic 1. Acquaintance with the educational program disciplines: "Business Ukrainian language". Literary language as the highest form of the national language. Innovative components of modern spelling. Stylistic differentiation of business language. Document. Types of documents. Business language. Basic specific functions. The term as the basis of the document. Topic 2. Stylistic differentiation of business languages Document. Types of documents. Topic 3. Business language. Basic specific functions. The term as the basis of the document. Topic 4.Linguistic features of business communication: vocabulary, syntactic structures, phraseology, text. The principle of document editing. Topic 5. System of business correspondence Genre differentiation of business letters: information letter, notification letter, request letter, guarantee letter, invitation, communiqué, note. Topic 6-8

Scientific reports, essays (oral / written forms of work), analysis of texts (proposed by the teacher or independently selected) are evaluated; independent composition of texts of various genres according to the task set by the teacher; control work in the form of tests with various types of tasks following the topics included in the corresponding content parts.
