PRN: 7. Apply models, methods and data of natural and social sciences sciences, information technologies, etc. when studying the formation and development of objects and processes of the geographical envelope. 9. To carry out research of the geographical envelope and its spheres according to using quantitative and qualitative methods of constructive analysis geography and rational use of natural resources. 11. Know and apply theories, paradigms, concepts and principles in the branches of the subject area of ​​geography according to specialization.

Successful completion of the courses "Geographical and local studies", "School tourism", "Geography of Europe, North America, Arctic, North of the Arctic and Atlantic oceans", "Geography of the countries of Europe, the North America", "Geography of Asia, Oceania, Australia, Indian and Pacific Oceans", "Geography of the countries of Asia, Oceania, Australia." 2. Have basic knowledge of natural and social sciences after studying geospheres, continents and oceans, individual countries, and also be able to analyze cause and effect connections between processes and phenomena that determine their formation.

Discipline involves consideration theoretical and methodological foundations of school geographical local studies and acquisition skills of organizing school local history activities. It is aimed at formation of students' deep comprehensive knowledge about the peculiarities of implementation of local studies in the school educational process and the organization of extracurricular activities local history work of students. The main attention during mastering the course is given students' mastery of methodological techniques and methods of conducting local studies work in general education
