Course content
The discipline "Information processes in animal populations" is part of the cycle of independent choice of the student of training of educational level "master" "biology". It arose due to the fact that none of the traditional applied disciplines fully covers the problem of communication research animals. Its theoretical core consists of such sciences as biocommunication, ethology, sociobiology. However, it is closely related to other disciplines, both the natural sciences and the humanities: zoology, animal physiology and anatomy, genetics, ecology, psychology, linguistics, psycholinguistics and cybernetics.
