Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process based on school knowledge programs of disciplines "History", "People and the world", "Artistic culture", "Ethics".

The educational discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to attract students to the worldview and methodological culture accumulated humanity throughout its history, to show a holistic, integrative nature of knowledge about the surrounding world, emphasize the fundamental importance for each person's free worldview self-determination, active choice position in life, creation of good by strengthening the state through one's own activities and society. Philosophy for future specialists in natural sciences and economics geography is a worldview and, at the same time, a methodological basis, on the basis of which there is assimilation of humanitarian, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines.
