-To look for information sources, systematize the data, formulate proposals and conclusions, demonstrate the text, define key moments, receive additional data;
- To present prepare analytical reports, prognosticate using different mathematical models;
- Use oral and writing forms of the native and foreign languages using professional terminology.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1.To have general knowledge on History of International Relations and History of Ukraine in particular.
2.To be able to analyze dynamics of inter-state diplomatic interactions.
3.To have elementary skills of political analysis, analysis of international situations and prognostication.
Course content
Themes of the discipline:
1. Introduction. Sources of norms and rules of the diplomatic protocol. Definitions and history of the diplomatic protocol, ceremonial and etiquette. Origins of contemporary business etiquette.
2. Diplomatic visits and communications. Protocol of business communication.
3. Following the norms of the diplomatic etiquette as an integral part of the image of a diplomat, politician businessman.
4. Visits at the high and highest levels. Protocol aspects of reception and holding negotiations with a foreign delegation.
5.Diplomatic receptions. “Gastrodiplomacy”. “Table etiquette”.
6. International courtesy of the states.
7. Rules of the diplomatic protocol and etiquette in different states of the world.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 70 points), written assignment (up to 10 points), final modular test (up to 20 points). The form of final control is a сredit.
