Learning outcomes

Application of the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and meaningfully interpret the results. Understranding and ability to apply, in accordance with other requirements of the educational program, modern theories and methods of solving specialized complex problems and practical problems in the field of international trade in goods and services, international capital movements, international monetary, financial and credit relations, human resources mobility, international technology transfer. 1. Introduction to the course. The concept of the value of money over time. 2. Risk and return. 3. Financial statements of multinational enterprises. 4. Financial system of a multinational enterprise. 5. Sources of funding for multinational enterprises. 6. Mechanisms of cross-border intra-firm transfer of financial resources. 7. International management of current assets and liabilities. 8. Long-term financial management of international corporations. 9. The essence and problems of forming a global corporate capital structure. 10. Theories of capital structure. 11. Cross-border financial leverage. 12. Dividend policy of modern corporations.
