Learning outcomes
To know the conceptual framework that characterizes international institutional investors; To know the sources of information about the activities of international institutional investors; To know the content, features and structure of the international asset management industry; To be able to systematize the prerequisites for the effectiveness of Institutional Asset Management; Communication in the process of evaluating the main directions and characteristics of the functioning of international institutional investors in the context of institutionalization of the global financial environment; Autonomy and responsibility in searching for the necessary information from various sources, the ability to organize it, to assess its scientific and practical significance and reliability, to make informed decisions and recommendations when analyzing the activities of international institutional investors.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the forms and regularities of the development of international economic relations, theoretical aspects of World Finance and the basics of financial mathematics.
2. Ability to analyze the causes and consequences of trends in various spheres of international economic relations.
3. Proficiency in skills of searching and analyzing statistical data, sources of financial information, analytical materials and other primary sources.
4. Knowledge of English or other foreign languages to expand opportunities to get acquainted with the activities of international institutional investors.

3. International investment assets and products in the placement of funds by institutional investors.
4. Collective investment institutions. Global investment funds and companies.
5. Investment behavior of hedge funds.
6. Asset management of pension funds.
7. Investment policy of insurance companies.
8. Activities of investment banks.
9. Direct Investment Funds.
10. Sovereign wealth funds and their portfolio policy.
11. Investment strategies and investment risk of institutional investors in international financial markets.
12. Regulation of international institutional investors.
