Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Students must know the basic characteristics of the management process; theories and methods of scientific research; basic concepts and categories in the field of management. 2. Students must be able to collect and interpret information on the phenomena of public administration, processes and events; apply terms, categories and classifications in the analysis of socio-political phenomena and processes; identify current trends and transformations of public administration in the context of globalization, other factors of the XXI century, understand modern management discourse, predict the prospects of their development taking into account the peculiarities of management processes in the context of globalization, decentralization of power in Ukraine; 3. Students must have basic skills in research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, managerial events and phenomena; use of foreign language prof. management information sources.
Course content
The course "Administrative and Legal Principles of Public Administration" introduces students to the basics of research and the specifics of administrative and legal relations and public administration relations, as well as covers the regulatory impact of administrative law on the development of public administration relations, which acquire administrative and legal form. It is noted that not all administrative-legal relations are necessarily relations of public administration, and not all relations of public administration are governed exclusively by the rules of administrative law. The subject, tasks, theoretical bases, methodologies, the basic directions and problems of researches are defined.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 21/35 points 2. Self-study (synopsis of texts): 5/10 points 3. Self-study (research of values): 12/20 points 4. Self-study (writing the text of recommendations): 10/15 points 5. Final test in writing - 12/20 points Final assessment in the form of credit: the final number of points in the course (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. Credit is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment activities.
