Learning outcomes
1. to understand the specifics and features of the implementation of cultural ideas, images, and meanings, as well as to critically evaluate the possibilities of their interpretation to solve important problems for a society. 6. to communicate fluently in official and foreign languages orally and in writing to discuss professional issues, presentation of research results and projects. 8. to make effective decisions to solve complex tasks and practical problems of cultural development of society. 10. to have decision making skills in management of cultural institutions or appropriate departments in unforeseen work and / or learning contexts. 11. to have professional development skills of individuals and groups in the field of culture. 14. to work out educational and methodical support and to teach educational courses on cultural studies in educational institutions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Students must know: existing in the system of philosophical thought traditions, teachings, theories, concepts, methodologies, approaches, strategies for studying the individual and group; basic categories of philosophy, general, social psychology, ontogenetic patterns of formation of mental properties, processes of development of personality. 2. Students must be able to: think abstractly, analyze, synthesize scientific material, search for and process it, using intellectual practices, research and explain the phenomena of life, using philosophical and general scientific methods; 3. Students must have basic skills: to cultural reflection and comprehension of the principles of existence, cognition and human activity; conduct intellectual search; the use of modern information and technical tools to solve problems of professional activity; intellectual communication, linguistic and textological ability; generating new ideas, evaluating the results of professional activity.
Course content
Psychology of higher school: purpose, subject, tasks, methods General psychological features of the student period of personality development. Typological features of modern students. Contradictory trends in educational and professional socialization of modern students. Educational and professional activity of the student: psychological content, conditions of success. Professionalization of the student's personality as a neoplasm of age. Student as a subject of his / her own educational and professional activity. The role of motivation in educational and professional activities. Socio-psychological features of higher education. Psychology of pedagogical interaction in higher education Psychology of personality and activity of a teacher of a higher education institution.

Credit is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment activities.
