Learning outcomes
The result of training is mastering the means of effective persuasive communication in various situations of life and professional communication, to develop skills in the field of public speaking, to improve the skills of creating and delivering public speeches.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main stages and characteristics of the historical process; basic general scientific theories and research methods; laws of logic and basic requirements for correct thinking; main works of classical Ukrainian literature and foreign literature. Be able to collect and interpret information about certain phenomena, phenomena or processes; determine the patterns and features of research subjects. Have basic skills in research and information management; critical thinking and forecasting in relation to historical, socio-political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign language professional information sources.
Course content
The subject, tasks, theoretical bases, methodologies, main directions and problems of rhetoric as a science are determined within the academic discipline. The discipline promotes the development of students' skills necessary for communication technology, which is an unconditional evidence of the communicative competence of today's student - tomorrow's specialist and takes into account modern scientific advances in understanding the mysteries of verbal expression and audience impact. Particular attention is paid to speech culture, skills of constructive dialogue.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 1. Oral or written reports, participation in the discussion (some of them in the form of abstracts, short theses remotely) - RN 1.1-1.4, 2.1, 2.3, 3.1 - 50 points / 30 points. 2. Writing an essay (remotely) - RN 2.1-4.2 - points / 18 points 3. Final test - RN 1.1-2.2, 2.4 - 20 points / 12 points. Final assessment: in the form of a credit
