Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know organic chemistry at the bachelor's degree in Chemistry. 2. Have skills in writing organic reactions. 3. Have an idea of stereochemistryat the bachelor's degree in Chemistry. 4. Have the skills to write the mechanisms of organic reactions at the bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
Course content
Natural and synthetic compounds with atoms F, S, Si, P, B. The nature of the carbon-heteroatom bond; nomenclature, spectroscopy and application of organometallic compounds; phosphines, phosphonium salts; derivatives of phosphoric and phosphoric acids; phosphazenes and phosphorus ilides; thiols, sulfides, salts of sulfonium; sulfoxides, sulfones; sulfur ilides; sulfonic, sulfinic, sulfonic acids; thiocarbonyl compounds; borans, oxygen-containing boron compounds; organosilicon compounds. Much attention is paid to the chemistry of organofluorine compounds.
