PRN 1. Know the main historical stages of development of the subject area. Collect, process and analyze information in the fields of geography, other natural sciences and humanities of science PRN 3. To know and understand the principles, forms, modern methods, methodological methods of teaching subject in institutions of general secondary education PRN 5. Be able to operate with basic categories and concepts of the specialty. PRN 11. To have the ability to appreciate diversity and multiculturalism, to be guided by pedagogical activity ethical norms, principles of tolerance, dialogue, etc cooperation PRN 12. To realize the value of protecting independence, territorial integrity and democratic system of Ukraine. PRN 14. Explain the spatial differentiation of the geographic shell and the geographic environment at the global, regional and local territorial levels PRN 24,33

1. Successful completion of courses "Geographical and local studies", "School tourism", "Geography of Europe, North America, Arctic, North of the Arctic and Atlantic oceans", "Geography of the countries of Europe, the North America", "Geography of Asia, Oceania, Australia, Indian and Pacific Oceans", "Geography of the countries of Asia, Oceania, Australia." 2. Have basic knowledge of natural and social sciences after studying geospheres, continents and oceans, individual countries, and also be able to analyze cause and effect connections between processes and phenomena that determine their formation. 3. To have modern methods of searching and primary processing of geographical information, elementary skills of information analysis and synthesis.

Discipline involves consideration theoretical and methodological foundations of school geographic local studies and acquisition skills of organizing school local history activities. It is aimed at formation of students' deep comprehensive knowledge about the peculiarities of implementation of local studies in the school educational process and the organization of extracurricular activities local history work of students. The main attention during mastering the course is given students' mastery of methodological techniques and methods of conducting local studies work in general educational institutions and organization of extracurricular local history activities students

Lecture, seminar class, independent work

The discipline ends with an exam. Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which involves two levels assessment of learned material, in particular assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.6), which is 40% of the total assessment and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.6); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.3), which is 60% of the total grade.
