Learning outcomes
PRN 2. To know the patterns of personality development, age characteristics of students, their
psychology and specifics of family relations.
PRN 4. Know and understand the peculiarities of teaching heterogeneous groups of students
PRN 5. Be able to operate with basic categories and concepts of the specialty.
PRN 8. Select and apply modern educational technologies and methods for formation
subject competencies of students and carry out a self-analysis of the effectiveness of lessons.
PRN 10. To have the ability to design psychologically safe and comfortable educational
environment, to be able to detect and counteract bullying among students, to organize
cooperation of students and communication with their parents

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: the specificity of childhood and its cultural and historical relevance; classification
methods of age psychology; historical development of the main ideas of age psychology;
content and specificity of human ontogenetic development.
Be able to: navigate the variety of theories of age psychology as a scientific discipline;
develop the design of experiments and empirical research on mental problems
development in ontogenesis; determine the causes of difficulties in school education; determine
the expediency of using techniques and methods of one or another methodological paradigm
psychological science when working with a problem child.
Course content
The discipline "General and age psychology" belongs to the cycle of normative disciplines
professional training of bachelors in the field of "education" with the specialty "secondary education"
full-time education. The discipline provides general theoretical training
students, which will serve as a basis for their further teaching activities in
high school The program contains theoretical problems of development and reveals the content
stages of human ontogenesis.
