PRN 3. To know and understand the principles, forms, modern methods, methodological methods of teaching subject in PRN 4. Know and understand the peculiarities of teaching heterogeneous groups of students PRN 5. Be able to operate with basic categories and concepts of the specialty. PRN 8. Select and apply modern educational technologies and methods for formation subject competencies of students and carry out a self-analysis of the effectiveness of lessons. PRN 9. To have the forms and methods of education of students in lessons and in extracurricular work PRN 14. Explain the spatial differentiation of the geographic shell and the geographic environment PRN 15. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of all courses of geographical content, knowledge of theoretical foundations understanding of pedagogy, psychology, methods of psychological and pedagogical research psychological and pedagogical regularities of the educational process. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of basic geographic theories and concepts. Basic knowledge and understanding spatio-temporal regularities of the structure of the geographical envelope, and the scale of its perception for orientation in geographical space.
Course content
this academic discipline is dedicated to – study of theoretical and methodological aspects of teaching natural science courses in secondary schools educational institutions. Attention is paid to the formation of the content of school courses in geography and regularities of the process of learning the basics of geographical science. Methods and methodical techniques, teaching aids, forms, among which a prominent place belongs to the lesson. Among modern teaching technologies are distinguished from procedural components of the didactic system. The evaluation-resultative component includes control and evaluation of knowledge, abilities and skills. The peculiarities of the content and teaching methods of all school geography courses are considered
