Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: - Turkish grammatical structures and vocabulary according to A2 level; - Syntactic rules for constructing phrases, simple (common and uncommon) sentences according to A2 level. Be able to: - read in Turkish and understand the content of the text/dialogue within the framework of the lexical and grammatical material studied reproduce the readings - carry on a conversation on a given topic within the framework of the vocabulary covered; -Comprehend by ear Turkish text/dialogues up to A2 level.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to ensure that students master the practical skills and various types of speech activities in Turkish necessary to operate dialogic and monologic speech within the framework of communicative topics covered during the entire period of study of this discipline; reading and understanding of adapted and original texts of various styles; improving literate writing skills in Turkish; grammatical and conversational topics proposed within the discipline to solve educational and professional problems. The main types of speech activities in Turkish are improved: reading, speaking, writing and listening. Students' communicative language competencies are formed: listening and understanding of discourse, ability to communicate on topics defined by the program, text comprehension and ability to reproduce what they have read. Students develop writing and reading skills that meet the requirements of an intermediate level of proficiency in a second foreign language.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which is 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3); (autonomy and responsibility 4), which is 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work in practical classes: LO 1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3, 4 - 20/40 points. 2. Home reading: LO 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3, 4 - 10/20 points. 3. Module test: LO 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3, 4 - 30/40 points.
