PLO 1. Evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement.
PLO 3. To apply modern methods and techniques, namely informational, in order to perform successful and effective professional activity and guarantee the quality of research in a specific field of Translation Studies.
PLO 5. To find optimal ways for effective interaction in the professional community and with representatives of other professional groups at various levels.
PLO 6. To use knowledge on expressive, emotive, logical language means and speech techniques, principles of intercultural management in order to achieve an intended pragmatic result and organize successful communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To have a creative and research-oriented approach to organizing translation activities. To possess theoretical knowledge within the topics covered in the curricula for the 1st to 4th years of the Bachelor's degree in Philology (specialization 035) and the 1st year of study according to the Educational and Professional Program "Specialized Translation from German and English; Intercultural Management," including proficiency in German at the C2 level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. To possess a good understanding of the fundamental concepts and terminology of translation studies. To have developed language proficiency, general knowledge, and a deep understanding of grammatical and stylistic norms in both the source and target languages.
Course content
This practical discipline involves familiarizing students with the grammatical and stylistic features of translation and adaptation of media content, including audiovisual productions, print media, blogs, games, etc. Its goal is to develop understanding and practical skills in managing translation projects in the media sphere, such as receiving orders, engaging translators, editing translations, etc. The objective of the discipline is to develop and enhance translation skills in the field of media, including the translation of audiovisual productions for subtitling or dubbing, translation and localization of media content, as well as project management in the media industry, including localization.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The practical classes involve hands-on activities and independent work. They include frontal questioning, presentations, and project work focused on translation.
Assessment methods and criteria
Detailed information on assessment is provided in the course syllabus. Throughout the semester, assessment is carried out according to the types of assignments and evaluation methods specified in the syllabus. The final grade is based on the student's performance throughout the semester and does not involve additional assessment measures. Students who have achieved the minimum passing score of 60 receive a "pass" grade. Students who have not reached the minimum passing score of 60 receive a "fail" grade. Students who have accumulated a total score of less than 60 during the semester may have the opportunity to complete additional course requirements and, upon successful completion, receive a passing grade.
