Prerequisites and co-requisites
1).Successful mastery of the discipline "Introduction to university studies", "Basics of tourism studies", "Tourist country studies". 2). Be able to: apply knowledge about the organization and application of modern information technologies when solving tasks in tourism activities; to become familiar with the creation and placement of materials on the global Internet, to use IT technologies at the enterprise. 3). Have basic skills in creating tourist sites; work in reservation systems; knowledge of network software applications using WEB technologies.
Course content
this academic discipline is dedicated to the study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of information technologies in tourism, its essence, basic concepts and strategies in the management of tourism enterprises. It highlights the current state and trends in the development of information systems; gives an idea of ​​the main corporate information systems in the context of tourism business management, information support for management decision-making.
