1. Knowledge of general geographic patterns, basic geographic terminology, understanding the processes of interaction between society and nature in the formation of the landscape shell and formation of the ethnosphere 2. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Fundamentals of tourism", "Geography of recreation and tourism", "Geography of traditional population culture and cultural landscapes of Ukraine and of the world", "Social geography", "Tourist country studies". 2. Possess elementary skills of working in Internet search systems, ability receive and analyze information obtained from various sources.

to form the skills of research and generalization of diverse information about the local territory (region) for the purpose of its further use for the identification and promotion of local tourist resources. The student should know: the essence of local studies and tourism-local studies research in particular; methods and methods of working with the source base in regional studies research; the place of local history information in the formation of a tourist product. The student must be able to: receive, analyze, interpret information about nature, culture, history of the local territory acquired from various sources and apply it for the development of excursions, tours, presentations
