Learning outcomes
PRN13. It is accessible and reasoned to explain the essence of specific philological issues, one's own point of view on them and its justification both to specialists and to the general public, in particular to students.
PRN19. Develop and improve programs of educational disciplines in Belarusian and Ukrainian languages and literatures, educational and methodical materials.
PRN 20. To conduct educational classes, provide consultations to students on educational disciplines in Belarusian and Ukrainian languages and literatures, as well as provide individual student support (mentoring, mentoring) during studies, using modern innovative methods and technologies of higher education.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the forms of organization of students' education; standards, criteria for evaluating knowledge, students' skills, informing them and receiving feedback from them.
- Be able to creatively apply the knowledge and methods of activity learned during the study of academic disciplines; have initial experience in conducting scientific and methodical work, research and experimental forms of pedagogical activity; plan and evaluate own work; use interactive and multimedia tools.
- Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign language professional informative sources; production of complex oral and written messages; interaction and cooperation in learning in exploratory situations.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to help students develop a system of knowledge, skills, and the ability to teach academic disciplines; to get acquainted with the peculiarities of teaching in higher education institutions; features of the teacher's professional skill and pedagogical technique for the formation of appropriate professional competences in Slavic students, a generalized picture of the organization of teaching non-Slavic languages and literatures in higher education institutions of Ukraine, familiarization with modern methods of teaching related languages and literatures. The educational discipline illuminates and interprets legal, scientific-methodical, professional documents and developments that regulate and ensure the educational process in higher education institutions, forms a unified system of knowledge and skills, and professional culture and thinking among students to further ensure organic professional activity.

Assessment methods and criteria
Throughout the semester, after lectures on relevant topics, practical classes are held, at which evaluations are carried out in accordance with the planned types of work. Evaluation of the semester work: 1. Oral response, additions, participation in discussions at lectures and seminars, blitz surveys, tests: 25/45 points. 2. Presentation: 11/15 points. (10 points for preparation + 5 points for defense). Students submit and defend their presentations later in the last lecture week.
Final assessment: Written exam: 24/40 points.
The semester final grade is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of performing the specified types and forms of education and obtained in the exam. The maximum distribution is carried out according to the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam.
