PRN1. To evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities in the field of Belarusian and Ukrainian studies, to build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PRN8. To evaluate the historical assets and the latest achievements of Slavic (Belarusian) and Ukrainian literary studies. PRN11. Carry out a scientific analysis of Belarusian, Ukrainian, English language and speech material, as well as Belarusian and Ukrainian literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account classical and modern methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. Full-time form

1. To know the peculiarities of the periodization and development of the Belarusian literary process; the evolution of directions, genres and styles; iconic works and personalities of Belarusian literary and cultural life from the beginning of writing to the 80s of the XX century. 2. To be able to connect theoretical knowledge with specific phenomena of fiction and historical and literary facts; use modern methodology to analyze both a separate work and the literary process as a whole; analyze works of art read in the original and translated, taking into account the development of aesthetic trends of the day; evaluate the phenomena of Belarusian and world literature and culture in their inseparable unity. 3. Possess elementary skills: scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena and other.

The discipline is Ch. I KD "New Belarusian literature in relation to the Ukrainian literary process" and belongs to the scientific-research component of the educational-scientific program. Its purpose is to contribute to the formation of a system of knowledge regarding the central problems of the literary life of Belarus in the context of the social and spiritual situation of Europe at the turn of the 20th - 21st centuries. The essence and nature of artistic searches of Belarusian writers, the main vectors of interaction of Belarusian literature with other European literatures are considered. The concept of teaching is cultural, poetic and comparative approaches. The discipline consists of 2 content modules and includes 1 modular test. Classes are held in the form of lectures using interactive teaching methods. It ends with a score.

Lectures, guidance of independent work and monitoring of its implementation, individual consultations.

Throughout the semester, lectures and individual consultations are held, written works are checked, and the level of assimilation of the material assigned for independent study is assessed. Planned types of works and forms of control: abstracting of scientific work (max. 5 p.), presentation (max. 6 p.), essay/literary-critical essay/ written analytical work (max. 10 p.), modular control work (max. 15 p. ), additions, participation in the discussion (max. 4b.). The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points (60 points) receive "enrolled". Credit control work is provided for students who wish to improve their final semester grade.
