Learning outcomes
PRN2. Confidently possess the state and foreign (Belarusian, English, Czech/Croatian) languages ​​for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages. PRN7. To analyze, compare and classify different trends and schools in Slavic (Belarusian), Ukrainian and English linguistics. PRN9. To characterize the theoretical foundations (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) and applied aspects of Slavic studies (Belarusian studies) and Ukrainian studies. PRN11, PRN18. Prerequisites and co-requisites
 To know the main characteristics of the Ukrainian literary language, to have basic factual knowledge of a humanitarian nature.  To be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena and phenomena of communication, peculiarities of translation, in particular from the Belarusian language; plan and evaluate own work; use interactive and multimedia tools.  Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign language professional informative sources; work with scientific texts; production of complex oral and written messages; interaction and cooperation in learning in exploratory situations.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to contribute to the formation of a system of knowledge about the peculiarities of the communicative resource of the Ukrainian literary language, to present the most important information on the problems of communicative linguistics, its defining features, to present the wealth of communicative resources of the Ukrainian language in the phonetic-phonological, morphological, syntactic subsystems of the language, ways of application, etc. The task is for students to acquire the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge of the problems of editing Ukrainian translations in various discourses: poetic, informational, scientific in view of the richness of communicative resources of the modern Ukrainian literary language. The discipline has a practical direction, forming the competences of communication skills, editing, and translation. The object of study is the means of forming Ukrainian-language discourses in communicative aspects

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, evaluation is carried out according to the types of work and the form of control: answer to the practical session (7/10 points), report-analysis of scientific literature (4/10 points), written work with editing (5/10 points), final written work (5/10 p.). The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, additions, written work, defense of the presentation) and for independent work (preparation of the presentation). The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "enrolled".
